STING
Professional active compact loudspeaker
The STING units are designed for use in small venues as full range units of sound reinforcement systems, including Hi-Fi and High End sets. At the same time, the STING will serve as a high-quality point source loudspeaker for sound reinforcement of individual zones in concert halls and theatres.
Active PICASSO loudspeakers are designed for use at demanding venues with increased requirements for sound transmission quality.
The tools offered to the professional user of MASTERS systems open up unlimited application possibilities. The main thing is to be able to use this rich palette. No other loudspeakers on the market can yet provide such tools without the use of external devices.

- Control of all MASTERS loudspeaker and power amplifier parameters can be performed by using TCP/IP and DANTE (optional) digital network protocols. A Wi-Fi access point for devices control is also available (optional).
- Built-in MARANI DSPs, developed specifically for MASTERS, run at 96k sampling rate, and the high-frequency response can reach 40 kHz.
- The latest signal processing algorithms, including IIR and FIR filters, as well as newly added unique MIR filters, allowing the user to change the loudspeaker sound character. The fourth generation iFIR wizard V4.0 plug-in supports automatic measurement and generation of FIR coefficients, as well as the import of FIR coefficients generated by a third-party software. A new MIR linear phase filter is added to the output crossover filter, which can avoid the phase distortion caused by the traditional IIR filter.
- The built-in dynamic loudness filter, the working principle is to self-adaptively boost the ultra-low and ultra-high frequency bands according to the equal loudness curve of the human ear, and the boost ratio is determined by the magnitude of the signal amplitude, which significantly improves the overall hearing of the small and medium-sized loudspeakers.
- A new algorithm of the hard limiter with zero delay is used for ultimate speaker protection against possible overloads.
- The parametric equalizer (PEQ) has up to 16 filter types to choose from. The output crossover filters include classic Linkwitz-Riley, Bessel, Butterworth filters, unique MARANI NXF filter (Notched X-over Filter), FIR filter, and newly added MIR linear phase filter which can make the phase of the crossover point easier to join while maintaining a very low delay.
- Setting up MASTERS loudspeakers does not require the use of additional and third-party software as all the main operating tools are provided by the DSP.
